FILLING IN THE GAGP: Who are you? What are you? and Where are you?
The Global Adoptee Genealogy Project (GAGP) aims to help adoptees and their families discover their biological and cultural roots through partnering with our DNA testing partner, Family Tree DNA all by the swab of one’s DNA as well as partnering with the other health / science, technology, and adoption communities in developing tools and resources for adoptees to connect with one another via their own DNA as well as expand resources for search and reunion. Mixed Roots Foundation will be the leading organization in recruiting adoptees and their families to participate in this very cutting edge project as well as provide funding to help offset costs of DNA testing and ultimately FREE DNA testing and search & reunion resources through the Filling in the GAGP Fund and the Spokeo Search Angels Fund for specifically adoptees and their families who are in need of financial assistance of these important services.
